Easter Charity Fair & Picnic

On April 29 Church Philadelphia hosted an annual Easter Charity Fair & Picnic to raise money for the underprivileged children in Stara Zburivka Village so that they could go to a summer camp this year. All good were hand made by church members and volunteers. Even children participated in money-raising by selling what they could — like drawings or desserts.

Church managed to raise more than $600 that was passed to the ServeNow directors in Ukraine (who are in charge of arranging the summer camp). Moreover, one of the guests was so touched by people's commitment and desire to help kids in need, that he decided to donate another $600 to double the amount raised at the fair! Praise the Lord!

In the end, everyone was invited to lunch outdoors to taste some incredible pilaf made also by one of our church members.
