What is Christmas? It is a day when Jesus was born. And every birthday is a celebration, especially when it a birthday of the Son of God, the Savior, the King of kings. And how can a birthday celebration be without kids? It has become an annual tradition at Philadelphia church to organize Christmas parties for children.

On January 6th more than 50 kids gathered in church to hear the story of how Jesus was born and to celebrate this day together.

Little guests watched a play called “The Pharmacist” about a Jewish pharmacist and his story how he turned to Christ. Church members were the actors and their talented children helped them as well.

And here is a director of the play – Eugenia!

There were also many games…

After many activities, children listened to songs, had some treats and did arts and crafts.

At the end everyone received a box full of gifts, which were kindly provided by the “Serve Now” organization. Everyone was very happy.

We pray that God reaches the heart of every child! The Christ is born!
