Kid’s Summer Camp at Church “Philadelphia”
First time this summer, our church organized a 3-day camp for kids. About 20 children participated in the event, which was both fun and meaningful.
“Let the children come to Me,“ said Jesus.
It is very important these days not to forget about the little ones, who are so precious in God’s eyes. We have to find ways how to teach Gospel to children in an interesting and simple manner, and to make them feel God’s love.
With God’s blessing, our church had an opportunity to organize a summer camp for kids for the first time this year. Thanks to the great organizational skills and devoted hearts of the “Serve Now” team, as well as the group of volunteers from our church, children were able to enjoy three days filled with fun: games, English club, dancing, singing, arts & crafts, communication and more. Most importantly, through this ministry, children had a chance to feel God’s love and see His care for them, as well as hear that God, Who created the universe, knows every single one of them and wants to be their Friend.
Every child is talented indeed - after three days of doing arts & crafts, we held a wonderful exhibition of children’s handmade articles. Kids also prepared a little play and a song to surprise their parents during the Sunday service.
We are looking forward to continuing this great tradition next year.
